I have an idea for a possible Fan Fiction:

Set sometime in the near future(as in sometime after the comic) a Human ship crash lands on Earth, into an ocean. While in orbit however, it ejected escape pods, one of which survives the trip to the surface. Basically, Humanity, which is fractured and at war, gets reintroduced to Earth. Would likely turn out violent, as that cant be avoided with any war situations. It is likely the morphs would also be surprised to see how Humans really are (from what I understand their views on Humanity are very mystical, almost putting us at a god-like status).

Very vague, but its a starting point, im not sure if I want to write one right now.

Get as much of your idea down on paper as possible.  If you wait too long, you'll lose the idea.  Not too sure what your purpose of posting the idea if you don't intend taking it further.  Need help?  The people here are generally willing to extend a helping hand, or paw.

Forgive the double post.  Let's take this apart and by asking the right questions, you can see where you may want to take that story idea.  I am not asking for a response, these are the kind of things you should be asking and answering if you intend fleshing out that fan fiction.






a Human ship crash lands on Earth:
1 ---- What brought the ship to Earth?
2 ---- What caused the ship to crash?
3 ---- When does this happen in relation to the human's departure?

into an ocean:
1 ---- Why an ocean?  (Having it fall on land might give the characters a quest.)
2 ---- Is it big enough to cause a wave?
3 ---- Who sees the ship fall?
4 ---- How do the morphs react?

it ejected escape pods:
1 ---- How many characters?
2 ---- What will be their composition (male/female, officer/grunt)
3 ---- Where does it land?
4 ---- Are the morphs nearby?
5 ---- Which faction(s) will be represented?

war situations:
1 ---- Who are they fighting? (man/man, man/alien)
2 ---- Why are they fighting?
3 ---- Which side is winning? (winner/loser/still undecided)

god-like status:
1 ---- Can they maintain that status?
2 ---- Who will challenge it?
3 ---- Why would one side challenge it?
4 ---- Who gains by challenging?
5 ---- What is the advantages of being god-like?
