| Instructions for downloading and installing The Labyrinth of Time |

For Windows 10 and 11 Step 1: When you click on the download button, your browser will begin to download the file TheLabyrinthOfTimeTrial.zip. Step 2: Locate the downloaded file on your computer. You can either unzip it somewhere, or use Windows' feature that allows viewing the contents of a zip file by double-clicking on it and seeing the files inside. In either case, you should now have access to TheLabyrinthOfTimeTrial.msi and ReadMe.txt. Step 3: For a more detailed explanation of installation and first-time run of the game, read the text file. Or just proceed to installation by double-clicking on the TheLabyrinthOfTimeTrial.msi (Microsoft Installer) file to start the process. Step 4: During the install, you will be asked if you want the app (the installer) to make changes to your device (computer). Click the Yes button. Follow through the rest of the steps to complete the install. Step 5: Launch the game. Once you have configured a few game settings. you are ready to play the trial. If you like it, purchase a registration key to complete the game! Return to Download page For MacOS Catalina (10.15) or Later Step 1: When you click the download button, your browser will begin to download a disc image containing the trial. Step 2: Wait until the download is complete. If your web browser and system are properly configured, your Mac will mount the disc image. If the disc image doesn't automatically open when your download completes, locate the file TheLabyrinthOfTimeTrial.dmg and double-click on it to mount the disc image. Step 3: A new Finder window will appear containing two icons named "The Labyrinth of Time" and "The Labyrinth of Time Data". To install simply drag these icons to your Applications folder (or whatever other folder or disk you'd like to store it). Step 4: Once the software is installed, you can safely "eject" the virtual disk it came on (and dispose of the .dmg disc image if you choose). Step 5: Double-click the "The Labyrinth of Time" icon in its new location to play the trial. Step 6. If you like it, purchase a registration key to complete the game! Return to Download page For Linux 6 AMD/Intel or Later Important: If you have a previous release of The Labyrinth of Time from this website installed on your system, we recommand uninstalling that release first. See the README.TXT file in the current installation directory for instructions. Uninstalling the old release will not affect your saved games, settings or registration. Step 1: When you click the download button, your browser will begin to download an archive containing the installation software. Step 2: After the download is complete, locate the downloaded archive file TheLabyrinthOfTimeTrial.tar.gz on your hard drive. Open a terminal window and change directory to the location you want the game installed. Step 3: In the terminal type tar xzf <download-directory>/TheLabyrinthOfTimeTrial.tar.gz to extract the archive. Replace "<download-directory>" with the location of the archive; e.g. ~/Downloads. This will create a directory named TheLabyrinthOfTime. Step 4: Once the trial software has been extracted, you can safely delete the archive file if you desire. Step 5: Change directory the the nexwly created TheLabyrinthOfTime directory.
