It seems to have vanished, but I got a notice that member "chatmen" had posted a spam topic. If bots can actually register on forums now instead of posting anonymously, this could be a problem for a lot of boards. I see this forum doesn't have one of those read-the-sloppily-drawn-numbers features, so the bots haven't cracked that yet, at least.

spam has been a problem for my boards as well some time ago. but finally bots (normally) cant register if a email vertification is necessary.

that means that every admin should set this option, this board does also soupport is

from then on spam should be no more problem.
