CD-Rom command line options?

I still have my Inherit the Earth CD-ROM (but not the lovely box it came in, sadly) - I know it's possible to run it under ScummVM, but instead I'm getting it to run under the DosBox-X emulator, because it plays the music with the same midi instrument sounds as I remember.

My question is - during the opening scene with the cave paintings, I can hear the narrator, but there's no text that appears.  Once the game actually starts, then I can see the speech text.  Is there any kind of command line option I can type into Dos, that would activate text during the opening narration?
