The last few days have being very interesting for us here at Wyrmkeep Entertainment. More like the Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times."

Some history: After acquiring the license to The Labyrinth of Time, we realized that we had the right to re-release the original Amiga version of the game. We consulted with the original developers and decided to make the Amiga version available as a free download (and as an inexpensive purchase on CD-ROM).

On May 25th we announced this news on a couple of Amiga news sites. In the next 24 hours we had 2000+ attempts to download the game archive. Yow! This seriously overloaded our server, and we had to temporarily take the archive off-line.

Some helpful people provided mirrors for the archive, and we started allowing downloads again. Everything went (relatively) smoothly until Saturday morning when all external contact with the server was lost. We don't know why, but the server reverted to normal that afternoon.

We have decided to only allow downloads from the mirror sites until we figure out what happened Saturday. Hopefully the mirrors aren't being too badly overloaded!

Anyway, this message is both an official announcement of the free version of The Labyrinth of Time for the Amiga Computer and explanation of why our web sites have been sluggish or missing-in-action the last few days.
