Title: Possible glitch with Professor Garret's journal
Post by: eriktorbjorn on Dec 28, 2004, 01:30 PM
Since I never played the original Labyrinth of Time, I don't know if this is a graphics glitch or an artistic decision, but this looks a bit strange to me:

When reading the Journal of Professor Martin Garret, some of the letters look a bit incomplete. For instance, on the very first page the upper "hook" of the "f", and the rightmost part of the loop in "P" seem to be missing. Other examples include the loop on the "g" and the rightmost part of the "W".

Is it possible that when drawing a letter, part of the previous letter is overdrawn and thus erased? Or is it just an attempt to make the writing look old and worn?

I think this is a carry-over from the DOS version, but I'll check with Michal (the original programmer).

Probably, but since I can't check against the original version myself, I'll just keep reporting these things when I see them and let you decide whether or not they're worth fixing.  ;)
